Regarding gamer score, I don't really care about it. At best it tells me who I know plays a bunch of games (and I can later ask them for recommendations or warnings). As far as EARNING it, I don't really look at the score attached to achievements, but having extra goals that aren't a part of simply 'completing' the game adds both more replay value or adds more to the playthrough if you're attempting to secure that coveted achievement. That is, when they're done right and not simply 'finish the game 10 times under 20 minutes!'Though the achievement of the 'used this skill 250 times' sort is amusing to unlock and achievement out of nowhere...

If the Wii version is anything like the DS original, you get your other tools by talking to people about the town. You haven't even touched the combat in the game yet, which I was really curious about :/ Oh well, I guess the game starts slower than the DS version (or I just have a really optimistic memory...)

After the sun sets, the levels get harder, but mostly due to the jumping controls. You start to adjust to it after time though...

I think if you're in tutorial mode and they don't mention that, it's a warranted impression and complaint.Beyond that though, the game froze up twice... ouch.

Even as a Star Wars fan... I don't think I'd make myself suffer through this. Especially pay to do so. Now if they release something like this after that wii remote attachment thing... I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, maybe.

Most of the things you were liking in the beginning part of the review are in the original as well, as I found out when I rented the first recently... and beat it rather quickly. There were plenty of achievements to be had however, so I can see for someone with Live GOLD and enjoyed the game immensely would enjoy it. Myself, I enjoyed Army of Two a bit more, though they were very similar as far as a co-op experience, though Army of Two had much more variety in strategy.

The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too. » Read On
