"I guess I didn't expect the sheer amount of people who were willing to just talk about games."That, to me, was one of the best parts of the show. I don't have any gamer friends -- beyond the Halo/Guitar Hero crowd -- so being able to have deep conversations about video games, old and new, with developers and fellow writers was bliss.

I didn't read any of the press stories until after playing it. Like so many I others, my mind was blown simply hearing about it from other folks at the show.Glad I got a chance to try it. Named it Game of Show for my site. Easy decision when everything else -- despite the polish -- is the same sh!t we played last year and the year before and the year before.

Oh what, now I get to the next page and you're slamming frozen Thin Mints? Really, Orland, you're so out of touch with reality, no wonder you burnt your fine Jewish eggbread, which shouldn't have been toasted in the first place.

No way, Orland. Diagonal slicing FTW! You're on notice now.

The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too. » Read On
