  • The Jones Report: Next Gen = Still Not Entirely Necessary by Scott Jones

    July 29, 2009 11:57:23 AM

One thing I'll say the next gen has in spades over the old PS2 and systems before it...GLITCHES!

    Zing! Hiyoooo!

  • The underbelly of Xbox Live by James Fudge

It's true, and this isn't exactly a new occurrence to the internet, it's trolling plain and simple, but like CG-P said, XboxLive isn't as anonymous as forums or even youtube comments. What I'm concerned with is how useful the complaint system would be? Could they actually determine if a complaint is real or just another troll complaining to troll? Would they start recording sessions? Do they have secret Xbox Police under the name GoWMaster456?

Rumor has it WotLK isn't being released in China either due to all the skeletons laying about and then getting up and kicking your ass. But culture is culture and criticizing it doesn't change it.

Personally, the joke about all my undead's gear being pre-owned never gets old.

I don't think anyone is really busting his proverbial chops when it comes to the art. He does good art. The criticisms are the humor, which is stale recently, and more than that the crappy update schedule. More accurately the complete LACK of an update schedule. I keep coming here because I really LIKE his art and want to see more, but he never gives it.

I've found it helps to not think about things like "what its based upon" when watching hollywood movies. It's how i actually found some enjoyment out of "Elektra". I replaced the title with "Kickass Girl" and the movie was slightly enjoyable. Also, i didn't listen to them talking. Just imagine they all talk like Charlie Brown adults and the movie is suddenly an action/comedy.

No longer true my fine feathered friend. He dropped the link to Ding! when he redid his site. Looks better now. Arts improved too. It seems he spent all his time not drawing this comic to improve his other comic, which is for the best imho.

Y'know, it took me a bit to realize your light hearted ignorance is actually a clever attempt at humor. Ho ho.

Or... you're actually SCOTT KURTZ IN DISGUISE!

What are you talking about? This ding has been up for a week and a half? Scott is not even writing it anymore and he STILL can't even do a once a week on this thing.

My only criticism is he should stop having the punchline be "Guy with glasses looks annoyed".

As someone who criticized Kurtz' laziness, I'm glad to see he's back and actually HIM doing it(no offense to Southworth or his fans). The art style is obviously him again, and while not the best joke around it shows he's at least trying again.

The Games That Time Forgot

The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too.
