KORG DS-10 Plus coming in early 2010

korg KORG DS-10 Plus coming in early 2010 ds-platforms Cavia Inc. is developing KORG DS-10 Plus for DS and DSi in conjunction with Procyon Studio, which will be published by XSEED in North America in early 2010, it was announced today. KORG DS-10 Plus builds on KORG DS-10 with new upgrades and improved performance that utilize the special features of the DSi.

KORG DS-10 Plus is a revamped version of the famous music-creation program offering per-track MUTE/SOLO built into the SONG mode, and EDIT/PLAY enabled for all modes within the SONG mode for further improved real-time performance. The touch-screen controls of Nintendo DS are utilized to provide an authentic feel and operability across a dual-screen layout and the 6-track/16-step sequencer enables control and a wide range of musical possibilities. Up to eight units can be linked via wireless connection to play together or to exchange sounds and songs.

Nintendo DSi owners can enjoy additional improvements including 12-voice polyphony, 4 tracks for the analog synthesizer simulator, 2 drum machines and more. Also available exclusively when played on the DSi are 2 effects layers, essentially giving users the functionality of two original KORG DS-10’s in one.

Take a Half Minute to save the world

XSEED Games has released Half-Minute Hero for PSP in North America - the game will also be available shortly for digital download on the PlayStation Network Store for those of you that hate UMDs or own a PSP go. Half-Minute Hero is a unique is a fast and loose game that combines role-playing, shooter action and even a little RTS in a story where you literally have right around 30 seconds to save the world from utter destruction. Ain’t that a bitch?

Players choose between four modes of accelerated game-play totaling over 100 unique stages. Among the modes are the quick level-grinding RPG flavor of Hero Mode, the rapid-fire shooting of Princess Mode, Evil Lord mode where you control units to save the day and Knight mode where you serve as protector. No matter what you choose you’ll have 30 seconds to save the world with a story filled with scads of Western pop culture referenced humor and an 8-bit graphical style.

Get your grudge on with JU-ON: The Grudge

XSEED Games has released JU-ON: The Grudge to retailers across North America for the Nintendo Wii. JU-ON: The Grudge is a haunted house simulator and sensory experience developed by feelplus and is inspired by the Japanese films of the same name.

JU-ON: The Grudge promises a unique addition to the horror title genre, immersing players in a first-person exploration of decrepit and haunted locales. Featuring five levels and one level to be unlocked, players venture deep into darkened halls using the Wiimote as a flashlight. The light exposes objects necessary for level progression such as keys and flashlight batteries, but may also unveil horrors best left in the dark. JU-ON: The Grudge also features a unique multiplayer mode where the second player can trigger surprise scares with the press of a button.

Half Minute Hero web site launches

XSEED has launched the website Half Minute Hero - the game will be released on Tuesday, October 13th. The website dedicated to this quirky action RPG offers a new gameplay trailer, additional media and an online leaderboard into the website where you will be able to input codes from stages you clear in the Hero 30 mode to rank yourself against the best players on the internet.

A Marvelous XSEED E3 Line-Up

Marvelous Entertainment USA and XSEED Games will focus on Wii, PSP, and DS games at E3 next week in Los Angeles. Both companies will show their wares at Concourse Hall Pavilion #427.

For the DS Avalon Code, KORG DS-10, Retro Game Challenge and Populous will be shown; Wii games Rune Factory: Frontier and LITTLE KING’S STORY will be there with bells on; with VALHALLA KNIGHTS 2 for PSP will rounding out the line-up. More after the Jump:
