Ten new World of Warcraft themed Peggle levels released

PopCap Games has released ten new World of Warcraft-themed Peggle levels - available for free at www.popcap.com/promos/pegglewow.

The new WoW-themed Peggle mash-up is a stand-alone version of Peggle, available for free that combines the sights, sounds and storyline of World of Warcraft with the rainbows and unicorns of everyone’s peg-popping addiction. It’s like crack mixed with meth, with a thin coating of ecstasy. It features ten new levels with Peggle masters Bjorn the Unicorn and Splork with his Space Blast facing off against denizens of Azeroth in scenes with names like Too Soon, Executus and The Traitor King – as well as ten new challenges with titles such as Phat Lewtz and Pwnyxia.

The WoW-themed Peggle mash-up is a joint collaboration between PopCap Games and World of Warcraft developer Blizzard Entertainment.

Peggle in World of Warcraft

peggle1a Peggle in World of Warcraft casual If Peggle is like Crack and World of Warcraft is like heroin, then what do you get when you combine the two? An unstoppable gaming addiction! A new free add-on for World of Warcraft from PopCap Games gives players the ability to play Peggle in the game. This isn’t the first time PopCap has invaded Blizzard’s MMO - the company released a similar add-on for the game that brought Bejeweled into the MMO.

The Wow addon offers a Quick Play mode with 12 stages based on major locations in WoW, two Peggle masters - alongside a Peggle Talent Tree, a Duel Mode: to compete in a quick match against other players, a battle mode that allows you to create custom leaderboards for friends and guildmates and new way to “roll” for loot (best shot gets the item) using the /peggleloot.

WoW players who log into the game today will be greeted with a new achievement, “WoW’s 4th Anniversary”, as well as a new letter waiting in their character’s mailbox, which reads:
