New map and vehicles deployed to War Rock
GamersFirst has launched a new map and several new vehicles to its free-to-play online action game, War Rock. Part of a brand new update, War Rock now features the brand new Skill Pointer map and 3 new vehicles. Along with this new update there will be a 25 percent experience boost for the weekend. Skill Pointer is a new Conquest Mode map that focuses heavily on vehicle combat. Players on Skill Pointer will have ten seconds of invulnerability to load into a vehicle before fighting to control the Neutral base and protect home base.
Skill pointer features three tanks - the M109, the new Japan 90 (J90) and M1A2. The J90 is a Type 90 uses modular ceramic and steel composite armor, while the J90 offers a mounted 120 mm smoothbore cannon, and the M1A2 comes equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun and a 120 mm M256 smoothbore cannon. Both the J90 and the M1A12 tanks will only be available on the Skill Pointer map.

K2 Networks’ 4th of July Celebration

New War Rock Content
K2 Network’’s online tactical first-person shooter, War Rock, is getting a new batch of in game content thanks to Chapter 2: Revelations. This new patch promises a dramatic new storyline, two new maps, three new vehicles, four new PX items and an exciting new parachute system. War Rock is interesting because the game is free to play; the cost comes in when buying items and content.
Chapter 2: Revelations, the new storyline, furthers the battle for Derbaran and promises to reveal a few mysteries along the way.
Players will have access to two new maps — Thamugadi and Bandar; four new additions to the PX including 20% Bonus XP, an item that adds an extra clip to sniper rifles, an item that adds an extra clip to selected rifles, and Crosshair 3 (a new crosshair that allows for quicker acquisition of targets); three new vehicles: the Leopard tank, Chinook helicopter and Apache helicopter; as well as a new Parachute System that lets players parachute into enemy territory by jumping out of the Chinook helicopter.
