GRIN no more
GRIN is no more, according to a sobering message from GRIN founders Bo and Ulf Andersson on the company’s official web site. GRIN’s most recent works include Bionic Commando, Bionic Commando: Rearmed for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, Wanted: Weapons of Fate, and Terminator: Salvation.
The closure follows a string of closures and personnel cuts but the number one reason cited for this recent decision was “delayed publisher payments.” Which publishers we do not know, but it probably didn’t help that many of GRIN’s most recent games weren’t well received.
I’m personally thankful for Bionic Commando: Rearmed, which was a fairly decent recreation of the original NES game I loved so much. Full statement from GRIN after the break.

GameFly Weekly Top Ten Rentals
What were the most popular games rented last week? Where can we go to get that information and what was the most popular across all platforms? For that information we go to GameFly. And according to GameFly, Wanted: Weapons of Fate was the most rented game for the week ending March 26. Warner Bros. Interactive entertainment’s game based on the movie about curving bullets and a tattooed woman addicted to adoption topped the all platforms and Xbox 360 rental charts, and landed at number two on the PS3 charts. Resident Evil 5 was also a popular rental for the week along with The Godfather 2 and Halo Wars.

The Rundown: Feb. 5, 2009
The weekend is almost here, can you feel it? Besides some free time and some quality time with your favorite games, this weekend also brings the added benefit of the New York Comic-Con. If you’re in the New York City area this weekend, you might want to take the time to check it out because a lot of games will be on display and playable on the show floor this year.. but I digress.. lots of news after the break.
