Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures Continue
Telltale Games has released the latest episode of Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures today. The newest chapter, The Last Resort, details Wallace and Gromit’s Blackpool holiday which ends up getting rained rained out. the odd duo, not content to wallow in disappointment, decide to bring the beach to their basement with the construction of West Wallaby Waterworld, a makeshift resort complete with sun, sand, and Wallace’s homemade boardwalk attractions. Keeping their guests satisfied turns out to be tricky business, particularly after one is thumped on the head by an unknown assailant. Wallace and Gromit must work together to finger the culprit, with a little help from Wallace’s latest invention: the Deductomatic. Eat your heart out, Sherlock Holmes.
The latest episode, along with previously released episodes in the series, can be purchased directly from www.telltalegames.com This series of games will also be released on Xbox Live Arcade at some point if that is your platform of choice - but for now you can only find them for PC. Strong Bad Sales Double on Wii Storage Solution
TellTale Games says that sales of its WiiWare game, Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People, have doubled since Nintendo announced a new storage solution at the Game Developer’s Conference in March. Of course, we don’t know what number these sales doubled from because TellTale didn’t make that information available. Nevertheless, bully for them for earning some extra coin. It makes me wonder if there has been an upswing in sales for other developers and publishers of WiiWare games.
The Strong Bad series began releasing episodically on WiiWare in August 2008. The Strong Bad games can be downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel for 1,000 points each. For more information on Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People on WiiWare, check out www.telltalegames.com. The series is also available for PC from Telltale’s website. Telltale’s episodic offerings are expanding to Xbox LIVE Arcade this spring with Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures.
