Bird Brain now available for iPod Touch, iPhone

birdbrain Bird Brain now available for iPod Touch, iPhone platforms Legacy Interactive has released Bird Brain for iPhone and iPod touch. Bird Brain is a trivia game with an insulting name, because if you’re dumb then someone might call you a bird brain, a dolt, dullard, moron, etc. You get my drift, and if you don’t then you probably are a bird brain.

The challenge of this game is to figure out the order of the trivia questions presented in 20 seconds or less. Trivia questions could be about locations of U.S. landmarks, sizes of dog breeds, ages of the Kardashian sisters (not who has the biggest butt, because everyone knows the answer to that question), and more. Each question requires ranking answers in relation to each other: big to small, newest to oldest, north to south, etc. With 10 rapid-fire questions per round, players must use quick thinking and faster fingers to arrange their list in proper order.

Bird Brain is available for $.99 on iPhone and iPod touch from Apple’s App Store or at www.birdbraingame.com.

This story reminds me of a commercial I saw about getting grilled chicken on a value menu for less than a buck. Word on the street is that you can.

EA Preps Brain Quest For September

Our kids have just barely gotten out of school and EA is already talking about preparing them for the “back to school” grind in September. Sheesh. The way to prepare them for the new school year, according to EA, is two brand new games based on the educational bestseller from Workman Publishing, Brain Quest. The game will adhere closely to the curriculum-based card deck series, offering youngsters a way to stimulate their brains through trivia-based gameplay and unlockable rewards.

The game will feature over 6,000 questions in eachcard game, developed for the third, fourth, fifth and sixthgrade levels. These fast-paced quiz games will challenge youngsters to answerquestions on their favorite subjects including English, history, math, science, and geography. Players who answer questions correctly scorepoints to redeem collectibles that can be used to customize up tosix scenes in the game. Hell, maybe some future contestants of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” can use the game to brush up on their elementary school knowledge.

Brain Quest will be available September 2008 in North America and have a U.S. MSRP of $29.99.
