Star Trek: D-A-C coming to Mac in Dec.

Star Trek Game for MacParamount Digital Entertainment and TransGaming have teamed up to bring Mac users Star Trek: D-A-C via TransGaming’s GameTreeOnline.com digital distribution platform in North America. Star Trek: D-A-C is a top-down space shooter where up to twelve players can compete in intergalactic battles between Starfleet and the Romulan Empire. Star Trek: D-A-C supports online multiplayer, online co-op and single player gameplay across four different game types - Survival, Team Deathmatch, Conquest and Assault - in addition to a single player campaign.

Star Trek: D-A-C for Mac will be available for download in December through GameTreeOnline.com. The game is already available via Steam, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and via other digital distribution platforms.

Warhammer Online coming to Mac this fall

EA and Mythic Entertainment announced that Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will be coming to the Mac in the fall of 2009. Warhammer Online is currently available now for Beta testing to all current subscribers and to all new Mac users through a 10-day Mac beta trial account. Nifty. Players from both PC and Mac platforms will be able to battle and quest together simultaneously on the same servers by using TransGaming’s Cider technology.

1c GamersGate discounts 1C titles, welcomes Mac users action

Online game distribution portal GamersGate announced that it has teamed up with TransGaming to give Mac users access to its line-up of games. The company also announced a sale on 1C’s complete line-up of games on the site. With the help of TransGaming, GamersGate has sucessfully launched a GamersGate store for Mac compatible games. With the addition of Mac service, GamersGate will now be able to reach gamers on both PC and Mac seamlessly. The initial launch includes titles such as World of Goo, the Hearts of Iron series, the Europa Universalis series, Flatout 2, and many others. New titles will be added on a regular basis.

GamersGate also announced a sale on all 1C titles; the games will be available of a discount between 25 - 75 percent until Sunday, June 14, 2009. The weekly deals include 4×4 Hummer, 7.62- High Calibre, Fantasy Wars, King’s Bounty: The Legend, Men of War, Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason and many more. For details, check out www.gamersgate.com.
