S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky Released
As promised, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky has shipped and is now in retail stores throughout North America as well as online via select digital distribution channels.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky expands on the first-person shooter based on a hypothetical scenario where a second Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident changes the entire world. Fun, fun. The game is billed as a prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that picks up after the events of the third campaign where Strelok ventures into the Zone center. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky features an alternative look into the events of the original game from a different perspective featuring a familiar S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Look for it in stores or at select online locations beginning today.

GSC Game World and Deep Silver announced this morning that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky has gone gold and that the international release date has been set to September 5th. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is a an extension of the first-person shooter based on a hypothetical scenario where a second Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident changes the entire world.
The game is being billed as a prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that follows the events preceding the third campaign of Strelok to the Zone center. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky features an alternative look into the events of the original game from a different perspective. Look for it in stores in a couple of weeks.
GamersGate Offers THQ Titles
Continuing to expand its digital relationships with more traditional brick-and-mortar publishers, Paradox Interactive has inked a deal with THQ to carry a number of its PC game portfolio on its digital distribution network, GamersGate. The agreement allows for distribution of select THQ titles worldwide — excluding Australia and New Zealand.
THQ games now on offer from GamersGate include Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Supreme Commander, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Full Spectrum Warrior and Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights. The upcoming Frontlines: Fuels of War will also makes its way to GamersGate.
