Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage heads to retail
Ubisoft’s Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage is now available in stores across North America. Developed by Ubisoft Montréal in collaboration with Olympic Gold Medalist Shaun White, the game is available exclusively for the Wii. Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage allows players to live the life of a professional snowboarder vicariously through a video game.
The game features various modes of extreme sports play in such locales as New York’s Times Square and competitions in France, Canada, Japan and more. The game promises lots of new events 75 new challenges, seamless co-op multiplayer options, compatibility with Wii MotionPlus and Wii Balance Board, the ability to create and name your own snowboarding tricks, customizable charcters and more.

Ubisoft E3 2009 press conference recap

The Ubisoft E3 press conference opened with Joel McHale, host of E!’s The Soup greeting the crowd with “Good evening fellow nerds,” which was as good a away as any to open a press event that was somewhat all over the map. But the good news is that Ubisoft is working on a lot of games that are worth paying attention to.

Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage announced
Ubisoft and Shaun White are teaming up once again for a brand new game: Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the game will be available exclusively for the Wii and will be on store shelves holiday 2009. The last Shaun White title, Shaun White Snowboarding, was a big hit for Ubisoft, selling over 3 million copies since its November 2008 launch.
Players will be able to once again use the Balance Board to try and the best snowboarder by tackling professional and extreme courses - from a half-pipe in the middle of New York’s Time Square to the most prestigious competitions in France, Canada and Japan. Further details about the game will be released next week at E3.
Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage will be showcased at the Ubisoft press conference during E3 at the Los Angeles Theater on June 1st at 5 p.m. Visitors can hit the powder, as well, at the Ubisoft booth on the show floor (South Hall, Booth #1022).
