This week on Sessler’s Soapbox, G4TV’s Adam Sessler bids a fond farewell to Pandemic studios, who recently suffered deep personnel cuts and a move to EALA’s offices. Sessler goes on to analyze how this may signal the end of the John Riccitiello plan at EA of introducing new IPs for the betterment of the future of the company, and what it means for the industry as a whole. It Came From G4: Sessler’s Soapbox and Halo 3 ODST
This week on Sessler’s Soapbox, G4’s Adam Sessler discusses The Beatles: Rock Band, and how it was difficult to properly review the game when it almost had to be looked at more as an experience than a game. You can catch it below or at G4TV.
Speaking of experiences, G4TV also has an interview with Bungie’s Brian Jarrard about Halo 3: ODST. I’m not a big Halo fan but ODST looks like an experience that, while still very Halo at its core, tries to create somewhat of a different angle into the Halo universe. You can find that interview at G4TV.

Sessler’s Soapbox: Who Cares About Backwards Compatibility?
In the latest edition of Adam Sessler’s popular video rants on G4TV, Sessler’s Soapbox, Adam talks about why PS3 Slim’s lack of backwards compatibility may not ultimately matter. He expands on that talk of ditching backwards compatibility altogether in favor of new digital downloads of older titles you want to play. It’s an interesting idea, though not one I agree with. Sessler’s Soapbox: Downloadable Games
This week on Sessler’s Soapbox, G4TV’s Adam Sessler talks about the latest batch of downloadable games - specifically his enjoyment of like ‘Splosion Man, which pays homage to the platformer genre. He also talks about how he appreciates the difficulty in a downloadable game, as opposed to his dislike of it in full priced games Watch it below or hit G4TV.com to check it out.
The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too.
