Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier Released

Atlus U.S.A. has released Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier on Nintendo DS today. Endless Frontier brings a brand new story and characters and a reinvented battle system. The game also features a new chain combat system where enemies go up and stay up by letting you juggle foes with a run of kicks, punches, slashes, gun attacks, bombs, and more. chaining these moves together is central to this system and timing-based button presses let you create an acrobatic string of assaults. You can even call in allies to keep the chain going longer.

Players can also customize attack combos choosing from a menu of attack skills to create the combo line-up you want to use in battle. Skills vary in strength and resources used, in addition to side benefits of stunning, triggering critical hits, and more. The game also offers gives a bonus to owners of the Super Robot Taisen Original Generation games for Game Boy Advance: the ability to unlock bonus items in Endless Frontier game by booting the game with the GBA cartridges in the GBA game slot.

Armored Core For Answer in Stores

ac Armored Core For Answer in Stores actionArmored Core for Answer has made its way to retail today, giving fans of From Software’s popular action game series a chance to engage in some robot-on-robot action. Armored Core for Answer, the 13th installment in the series that began its life on the PlayStation, promises epic boss battles, seamless online co-op and multiplayer modes, and tons of customization options for your mech.

The game is published by Ubisoft, rated “T” for “TEEN” by the ESRB and is available for $59.99 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Zoids Assault Delayed

Atlus announced this week that is has delayed Zoids Assault ever so slightly from August to September of this year. Okay, perhaps not so slightly. Zoids Assault is a strategy RPG for the Xbox 360 promising biomechanical combat using war machines that are built form over 60 different parts. The game will officially launch (now) on September 9. Robocalypse Revealed

Vogster Entertainment today announced its debut project, Robocalypse for the DS, which will ship in the second quarter of 2008. Robocalypse is a real-time strategy game set in a world of wise-cracking robots that like nothing better than to fight. Robocalypse promises madcap weaponry and copious amounts of destruction, and deep real time strategy — promises that have yet to be really delivered by DS developers.

Players will have a chance to play with 10 distinct robot types with specialized skills and weapons. 20 weapon types, gameplay completely controlled by using the stylus, Wi-Fi multiplayer for up to four people and a storyline penned bySpongeBob SquarePants writers Jay Lender and Micah Wright. Robocalypse hits retails sometime in Q2 2008.
