Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection in Nov.
Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection will be released on November 10th in North America, in time for the holidays. A comprehensive compilation of all the content created within the title’s history, this new entry to the FINAL FANTASY XI catalog will be priced at $19.99 and available as a retail product for both Windows PC and Xbox 360, and as a PC download through select digital content distributors.
Described as a “one-size-fits-all upgrade” for current players, as well as an entry level package for new players, this new compilation includes the four previously released expansion packs – Rise of the ZilarT, Chains of Promathia, TreasureS of Aht Urhgan, and Wings of the Goddess – as well as the three add-on scenarios released in 2009: A Crystalline Prophecy - Ode of Life Bestowing, A Moogle Kupo d’Etat - Evil in Small Doses and A Shantotto Ascension - The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born. The third add-on scenario, A Shantotto Ascension, will officially launch later this year.

New add-on scenario coming for Final Fantasy XI
Square Enix announced this morning that the second add-on scenario for its MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI, will begin pre-sale on July 5, 2009. Titled A Moogle Kupo d’Etat – Evil in Small Doses, this upcoming add-on scenario will launch simultaneously worldwide later this summer.
Beginning Saturday, July 5, 2009, A Moogle Kupo d’Etat – Evil in Small Doses will be available for pre-purchase for $9.99 via the PlayOnline. Slated to launch at the end of July following the next Final Fantasy XI version update, players whose in-game character’s main job level is at least 10 can begin to play this new content right away. This new expansion introduces a brand-new story arc, and requires the purchase and installation of RISE OF THE ZILART to play.
Masato Kato is leading the development of these add-on scenarios, including the already launched A Crystalline Prophecy – Ode of Life Bestowing and the upcoming third and final scenario, A Shantotto Ascension – The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born. He created the stories and scenarios for Final Fantasy XI
and its first expansion pack, RISE OF THE ZILART.
