Suda51 Teams With EA

no_more_heroes_wii_07-640x Suda51 Teams With EA actionElectronic Arts is teaming up with legendary producer Shinji Mikami and innovative designer Suda51 for an all new action horror title for PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. Under the terms of the deal, EA Partners will publish Grasshopper Manufacture’s game in North America. The deal was brokered by CAA, in conjunction with Q Entertainment who will be working with Grasshopper Manufacture and EAP on the project. Details on the title are to be revealed soon.

Suda51 is known for creating unique game experiences like Killer 7 and No More Heroes. No doubt his latest game will depart from the conventional.

Peggle for DS Announced

PopCap Games announced that Peggle will be coming to the Nintendo DS later this year. The game, which is being developed by Q Entertainment, While details on the DS adaption of this popular casual game were not disclosed, PopCap says that Q Entertainment is already hard at work on the game and is adding features unique to the DS version that are not available in the existing PC, Mac or iPod games.

Peggle for DS will be released this winter.

Rez XBLA Dated

Q Entertainment’’s classic shooter Rez finally has a date for Xbox Live Arcade thanks to news from Sonic Team’’s official North American home and page for the game. That date is Jan. 8 for North America, while European XBLA players will have to wait until Jan. 20 (so sorry my European brothers and sisters). Get those MS points ready, because this game truly is worth the price of admission. More from the official site:
