Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Web site Launched

Atlus U.S.A. opens SMT Strange Journey site.
Atlus U.S.A. has launched the official website for the upcoming sci-fi RPG, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for Nintendo DS. The site, located at www.atlus.com/strangejourney, will – at some point – contain details on the game’s story, cast, systems, and password feature, as well as a mission briefing to set the stage. A special “What is SMT?” section promises to let visitors and those new to the SMT learn about the history of the series, while the Downloads section gives them something to take away once they join the existing legion of fans.
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey is scheduled to release on March 23rd with an MSRP of $34.99. Every launch copy will be a premium boxed set with a bonus CD featuring music from the game included at no additional cost. You can pre-order the game by visiting www.atlus.com/strangejourney. The game is rated “M” for “Mature” by the ESRB.
Dragon Age: Origins coming to Mac users Dec. 21

BioWare and TransGaming have teamed up to bring Dragon Age: Origins to Mac users on December 21. The epic fantasy RPG will be available to Mac Players as a digital download as a Standard or Digital Deluxe version. The Digital Deluxe version will feature additional content including a collection of wallpapers, in-game bonus items, the game’s soundtrack and the Warden’s Keep DLC content. Warden’s Keep provides players with a new adventure, new loot including a set of ancient Grey Warden armor, a chance to gain two of six mysterious new abilities, a new base complete with merchants and a party chest to store their hard-earned items.
Each version of Dragon Age: Origins for the Mac will also include The Stone Prisoner and the Blood Dragon Armor. The Stone Prisoner gives players access to new environments, items, hours of additional gameplay and the mighty stone golem, Shale, who can become one of the most powerful party members in the game. In addition, players will receive the Blood Dragon Armor, a set of themed armor that gives players additional protection in combat and will be available for use in both Dragon Age: Origins on the Mac and in Mass Effect 2 on the Xbox 360 and PC.

Pre-order Just Cause 2, get exclusive in-game gear

Square Enix and its wholly owned subsidiary Eidos announced the bonuses consumers will get when they buy Just Cause 2 early via its pre-order program at participating retailers. Those who pre-order Just Cause 2 in North America will have access to an in-game item for causing complete chaos by land, sea and air. Pre-ordering from a participating retailer will give players access to one of several guns, gadgets, and experimental and heavily upgraded items.
These pre-order items include Rico’s Signature Gun – an accurate and powerful pistol; Bull’s Eye Assault Rifle – a more potent version of the standard assault rifle with increased accuracy in close combat and a higher magnification scope; the Chevalier Classic – a vehicle with an increased top speed and superior handling; the Chaos Parachute – features a skull motif; and the Agency Hovercraft – the most flexible form of transportation in the game offering a thrust-based engine and the ability to drive on land and sea.

Red Dead Redemption Pre-Order Details

Rockstar Games announced that an exclusive partnership with GameStop will give players in-game content if they pre-order Red Dead Redemption on the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3 in-store or online at www.gamestop.com. For the first time consumers will have the power to vote for their choice of one of three in-game outfit challenges as their exclusive pre-order bonus on the retailer’s website.
Players can vote to choose an outfit that will be earned by completing a unique set of in-game challenges. Once the challenges are completed and the outfit is unlocked, the outfit will uniquely affect how the surrounding world responds to the game’s protagonist, John Marston. Stay tuned throughout the month of January for new information about the outfits and their effects in-game.

Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight pre-order details

Electronic Arts announced that its latest C&C game, Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight, hits store shelves beginning March 16th. Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight brings the 15 year-long Tiberium saga to a conclusion and offers players new class-based gameplay, mobile bases and an experience system throughout all game modes. EA also announced the first pre-order incentives for Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight. Fans who pre-order the game now will receive early access to the upcoming beta program, the game’s official soundtrack and an exclusive prequel bonus mission. More importantly for long time fans, we finally learn what happens to Kane, Nod, GDI, Earth and Tiberium when Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight hits store shelves.
Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight is being developed for the PC at EA Los Angeles and will be available in North America on March 16th 2010 and in Europe on March 19th, 2010. Pre-orders are now available at www.commandandconquer.com/preorder.
Divinity II – Ego Draconis pre-order details

cdv Software Entertainment USA today revealed the first details on its Divinity II – Ego Draconis pre-order incentive program. Starting today, consumers who pre-order Divinity II – Ego Draconis from GameStop will receive the Blood Echelon Armor and Weapon Set – while supplies last, of course. Like you can run out of digital content? Just make more copies, people.
Anyway, the Blood Echelon is described by cdv as a select lodge of elite Dragon Slayers who have earned the highest of distinctions on the battlefield. Their elite armor and weapon set includes the Blood Echelon Armor (Blood Echelon armor is powerfully sturdy set that is also highly intimidating) and the Blood Echelon weapon (a claymore that can cut through armor like it was mere flesh.
The pre-order program is available now through January 5, 2010 and appatrently exclusive to GameStop GameStop. Incentive items will be available GameStop online or at time of pick-up starting January 5, 2010.
Divnity II – Ego Draconis will be released on January 5, 2010 in North America on the Xbox 360 and PC.

Left 4 Dead 2 demo available for pre-order customers

It’s official! Valve Software passed along word this morning that the official Left 4 Dead 2 demo is now available on Xbox Live to those customers that pre-ordered the game. For those that didn’t you’re going to have to wait a week longer. See how it works? Anyway PC users will also be able to grab the demo if they pre-ordered via Steam.
