Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight pre-order details

Electronic Arts announced that its latest C&C game, Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight, hits store shelves beginning March 16th. Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight brings the 15 year-long Tiberium saga to a conclusion and offers players new class-based gameplay, mobile bases and an experience system throughout all game modes. EA also announced the first pre-order incentives for Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight. Fans who pre-order the game now will receive early access to the upcoming beta program, the game’s official soundtrack and an exclusive prequel bonus mission. More importantly for long time fans, we finally learn what happens to Kane, Nod, GDI, Earth and Tiberium when Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight hits store shelves.

Divinity II - Ego Draconis pre-order details

cdv Software Entertainment USA today revealed the first details on its Divinity II - Ego Draconis pre-order incentive program. Starting today, consumers who pre-order Divinity II - Ego Draconis from GameStop will receive the Blood Echelon Armor and Weapon Set - while supplies last, of course. Like you can run out of digital content? Just make more copies, people.

Anyway, the Blood Echelon is described by cdv as a select lodge of elite Dragon Slayers who have earned the highest of distinctions on the battlefield. Their elite armor and weapon set includes the Blood Echelon Armor (Blood Echelon armor is powerfully sturdy set that is also highly intimidating) and the Blood Echelon weapon (a claymore that can cut through armor like it was mere flesh.

The pre-order program is available now through January 5, 2010 and appatrently exclusive to GameStop GameStop. Incentive items will be available GameStop online or at time of pick-up starting January 5, 2010.

Divnity II - Ego Draconis will be released on January 5, 2010 in North America on the Xbox 360 and PC.

Left 4 Dead 2 demo available for pre-order customers

It’s official! Valve Software passed along word this morning that the official Left 4 Dead 2 demo is now available on Xbox Live to those customers that pre-ordered the game. For those that didn’t you’re going to have to wait a week longer. See how it works? Anyway PC users will also be able to grab the demo if they pre-ordered via Steam.

Who wants Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! on UMD?

NIS America has started a pre-order for the UMD version of Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! at RosenQueen.com. After recieving tons of mail from fans and running a poll at the company’s official web site, NIS America came to the conclusion that lots of people are still interested in Badman UMD. So it decided to support it, with a catch; people have to prove they want it by pre-ordering it.

“If we get 1,000 orders we will go ahead and manufacture the UMD version of Badman, the company said in a recent mailout to fans. “We are also trying to get support from retailers. If they support us, we’ll create the UMD even if the preorder doesn’t reach 1,000.”

East India Company: Privateer pre-order begins

Paradox Interactive today announced that pre-orders for East India Company: Privateer, an expansion for naval strategy title, East India Company, have started. Customers who pre-order East India Company: Privateer will be given early access to the free add-on Designer’s Cut. The add-on, which introduces new gameplay enhancements based off of input from both the game’s developers and East India Company fans on the Paradox forums, will release to the rest of the public on October 27.

East India Company: Privateer features two new campaigns that you play as a privateer and complete missions for different nations, new missions, new commander skills, and a whole lot more.

Mass Effect 2 dated, pre-order items revealed

BioWare revealed that its sci-fi action RPG sequel, Mass Effect 2, will be on store shelves in North America on January 26, and on January 29 in Europe. The company also revealed a number of unique in-game items consumers can get when they pre-order.

In North America, the pre-order bonuses include special-ops armor and weaponry that are designed to boost Commander Shepard’s skills and abilities. At GameStop, Terminus Gear is available with pre-orders, which includes the Terminus Assault Armor and the M-490 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon. The Terminus Armor is designed for use in extreme planetary conditions, increasing run speed and personal shields, and augmenting weapons with an additional magazine of reserve ammo. The M-490 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon generates a high-powered localized gravity well, accelerating particles to near-infinite mass, and ultimately expanding the selection of heavy weapons available to players when they gear up for combat missions in Mass Effect 2.

Players that pre-order Mass Effect 2 at other retailers in North America will receive the Inferno Armor, which gives a negotiation bonus to Commander Shepard and an increase in run speed and augmented damage from combat powers.

Mass Effect 2 will be available on the Xbox 360 and PC.

Aion in stores today

NCsoft today released, Aion, the company’s latest massively multiplayer online (MMO) game to retailers across North America. Having sold out of its Limited Collector’s Edition version and tallying more preorders than any other massively multiplayer online game this year (which is very few, to be fair), Aion’s release does mark the biggest MMO launch of this year so far. Aion also released today in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and launches this Friday, September 25, in Europe.

In Aion, gamers explore a celestial world where they cab create either winged Elyos or Asmodian avatars, sworn enemy races that discover a common foe: the twisted and depraved Balaur.

Aion’s preorder sales have exceeded NCsoft’s expectations, and the game has remained ranked among the top games on both Steam and Direct2Drive throughout the preorder period. Those pre-orders account for sales of 450,000 copies before launch. Aion is available at retailers such as NCsoft.com, Amazon, Best Buy, EB Games Canada, Fry’s Electronics, GameStop, Steam, Target and Wal-Mart.
