NecroVisioN released

mecrovision NecroVisioN released uncategorized

Aspyr Media and publisher 1C Company, announced today that NecroVisioN for PC is now available at North American retail outlets and via digital download at www.gameagent.com and apparently DRM-free. The first five titles published by Aspyr under license from 1C in North America - Men of War, Death Track: Resurrection, Cryostasis, NecroVisioN, and 4X4 Hummer - will all be DRM-free.

NecroVisioN is being billed as a spiritual successor to Painkiller, created by some of the people from the original developer. NecroVisioN is a first-person shooter that blends action, World War I stylized combat, magical weaponry, and confrontations against zombies and vampires in a world where the occult is very, very real.

Set in the year 1916, NecroVisioN follows a young American who joins the British Army during WWI to fight in the “War to end all Wars.” Instead he finds himself thrusts into the underground world of the occult where vampires, zombies and demons are real.

EA Signs Pact with Epic Games

Electronic Arts and Epic Games announced that they have signed a publishing agreement for an all-new action title for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The title in question will be an all new, original intellectual property to be developed by the fine folks at Epic’s People Can Fly studio in Poland.

People Can Fly are best known for creating the popular first-person shooter Painkiller on the Xbox and PC. That game, in my opinion was hot, so I have high hopes that People Can Fly will create something just as compelling and fun.
