zombie1 Fort Zombie dated for Halloween action Kerberos Studios and publish Paradox Interactive announced today that their action-RPG title, Fort Zombie, will be released on Halloween through various digital distribution platforms. In the game you play as a survivor of a Zombie apocalypse who must find shelter, create a makeshift fortress from an abandoned structure and stay alive. You’ll have to scrounge for supplies and weapons, recruit other survivors and wait out this pox on humanity.. or die trying.

East India Company: Privateer pre-order begins

eic09-640x East India Company: Privateer pre-order begins genresParadox Interactive today announced that pre-orders for East India Company: Privateer, an expansion for naval strategy title, East India Company, have started. Customers who pre-order East India Company: Privateer will be given early access to the free add-on Designer’s Cut. The add-on, which introduces new gameplay enhancements based off of input from both the game’s developers and East India Company fans on the Paradox forums, will release to the rest of the public on October 27.

East India Company: Privateer features two new campaigns that you play as a privateer and complete missions for different nations, new missions, new commander skills, and a whole lot more.

Supreme Ruler 2020 GOLD in Sept.

Paradox Interactive will release Battlegoat Studios’ Supreme Ruler 2020 GOLD on Sept 18. Supreme Ruler 2020 GOLD includes Supreme Ruler 2020 (of course!) and the official expansion Global Crisis. The p[package will be available at retail stores in North America as well as a digital download - as usual - via Paradox Interactive’s digital download portal, GamersGate.

In Supreme Ruler 2020 players lead a nation of their choosing in a world that has fallen into anarchy. In the Global Crisis expansion, players face an even more devastating and realistic experience through a sandbox-style campaign that takes into account real-world headlines for a chilling portrayal of tomorrow’s chaotic world. East India Company gold, in stores July 31

PC games publisher Paradox Interactive announce that development on its upcoming naval strategy title, East India Company, has reached completion. Developed by Finland-based Nitro Games, East India Company offers players the opportunity to build the world’s largest trading empire and engage in what it calls “fierce and spectacular naval battles.”

East India Company promises a large selection of options in both single player and multiplayer modes, giving players unfettered control to create the most powerful naval trading empire possible. The game takes place in territories ranging from Eastern Europe to the Far East seas, letting players fight, manage and rule nations in real-time tactical combat while surrounded by cinematic backdrops.

The sequel to the popular PC strategy title will be available for purchase through retail and on all major digital distribution channels.

Sequel to Cyberlore’s popular fantasy kingdom strategy simulation game, Majesty 2 lets players rule a unique world through indirect control of characters and units, hero recruitment and hands-off combat. Doing so can pose quite the challenge, for your heroes are just as likely to stop in for a beer at the local tavern as they are to fight monsters and undertake heroic quests. Mixing humor and charm into a magical landscape that is quite unlike anything else, Majesty 2 is primed to offer strategy fans a fantastic experience never to be forgotten.

GamersGate scores Iceberg Interactive titles

Digital distribution platform GamersGate has inked a deal with European game publisher Iceberg Interactive to distribute select titles worldwide, starting with Poker Simulator for Mac and Windows. Additional titles including The Last Chariot of the Gods and Bee Smart will be available in the coming months.

Bee Smart is a brain training game for kids, developed for the PC and consoles. The game claims to improve certain brain activities, such as speed, perception, creativity and memory. The Last Chariot of the Gods, a point and click adventure game for the PC, was developed by the Austrian studio Homegrown Games.

Restaurant Empire 2 lands on Gamer’s Gate

Paradox Interactive and Enlight Software’s Restaurant Empire 2 has been released today worldwide. Restaurant Empire 2 is available worldwide through the digital download portal Gamer’s Gate with an SRP of of $29.99 / €29.99. Restaurant Empire 2 builds on the Restaurant Empire franchise, a title that has already sold respectable 300,000 units in the United States alone.

The sequel lets players build the restaurant of their dreams and manage every aspect of it including hiring and firing employees, creating the proper layout and ambience to draw customers in, creating and implementing appetizers, drinks, desserts, and entrees, dealing with irate customers, and investing your profits properly.

You also get the chance to grab a slice of the lucrative café and dessert house markets. Both types of establishment are available when playing the sandbox scenario, or throughout the second campaign, where you must help star chef Delia carve out her own business empire.
