Military Madness: Nectaris now on Xbox Live

Hudson’s classic turn-based strategy game, Military Madness: Nectaris is now available on Xbox LIVE Arcade. This new title features the same strategic gameplay of the original Military Madness game, along with new features such as 3D graphics, four player online or local team / vs. multiplayer, an all-new Commander unit that can be customized with various abilities, leaderboards and more.

The game is based on the TurboGrafx-16 classic released in 1989, Military Madness features two opposing forces with near-future military equipment battling it out on the Moon. Each level is a distinct map with a hex grid, on which players take turns moving their units in an effort to win by destroying all enemy units or taking over the enemy headquarters. Like the original game, Military Madness: Nectaris players must use strategy in the placement and movement of units, make use of terrain advantages and predict enemy movements to outsmart the enemy.

Justin.TV is no stranger to the world of gaming, having covered libe streams of E3 press conferences for G4TV - amongst othe game related content. Military Madness Reborn

Military Madness, the classic turn-based strategy game published by Hudson Entertainment, is coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network, and WiiWare, the company announced this week. This new version of the strategic combat simulation game includes a graphical make-over, new units, online co-op and vs. multiplayer (four person online) and a bunch of other new features. Due to be ready this summer, Military Madness has been rated T for Teen by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB).
