Konami E3 press conference notes

Konami Digital Entertainment made a couple of important announcements during its press conference this afternoon at E3 worth noting. Amidst all the Dance Dance Revolution and Karaoke Revolution stuff, Konami revealed five keys franchises that active gamers will want to know about. Most of them you already know about and one is kind of questionable but I’ll mention it anyways for the sake of completion.
Kojima Productions’’ Hideo Kojima announced that his company is working on four games: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid Rising, Metal Gear Solid Arcade and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

Microsoft E3 2009 press conference recap

Microsoft fired the opening salvo a day before the Electronic Entertainment Expo officially opens, revealing new social networking functionality, changes to Xbox Live, new clips from its key franchises - and those from third-party publishers - and revealing its way of doing motion controlled gaming. It was a pretty impressive showing that will set expectations for Nintendo and Sony’s events later this week.
