Star Wars: The Old Republic: Jedi Knights
The official site for Star Wars: The Old Republic, BioWare and LucasArts’ upcoming MMO set in the early days of the Star Wars Universe, offers a deeper look at the Jedi Knight. For countless ages the Knights of the Jedi Order have been the guardians of peace and justice in The Old Republic using disciplined training and meditation, to achieve a perfect union of body and mind.
Strengthened by the Force, they are able to turn this training into lightsaber combat that is unmatched in the universe. The latest HoloNet entry on the official Old Republic web site now offers a full profile of the Jedi Knights, including videos showing them in action The media section is also offering downloadable screenshots, concept art, and wallpapers!

Star Wars: The Old Republic weekly update
This week’s update to the Star Wars: The Old Republic website includes a brand new trailer and a brand new issue of Threat of Peace. The new video deals with the The Making of Coruscant, the complex city-world filled with a majestic skyline. buildings that touch the sky, and a dark and seedy underground level. Developers discuss the creation of the Republic’s capital from the deepest basement to the tallest skyscraper.
In Threat of Peace #17 Lieutenant Tavus makes a not-so-subtle romantic pass at Jedi Knight Satele Shan. An awkward moment is averted as the pair arrives on Dantooine to deal with yet another Republic military outpost where the troops have not withdrawn. Even as discussions begin with the stubborn Republic major, news arrives of Master Zym’s death and the Senate Tower bombing

LucasArts releases Lucidity
LucasArts has released Lucidity, a new game from the LucasArts team that re-imagined The Secret of Monkey Island, is now available on Xbox LIVE Arcade, Steam, and Direct2Drive. Lucidity is a puzzle platformer set in the surreal dreamscapes of a little girl named Sofi. In Lucidity, players take a trip into the imagination of a young girl who enjoys exploring new worlds and overcoming obstacles. She sounds plucky as all get out. Players must keep Sofi safe as she drifts deeper into the strange new world of her dreams. Through quick reaction and placement of randomly generated puzzle pieces, players must create a path through the dreamscapes to keep Sofi in motion and deliver her to safety.

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes released
LucasArts has released Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS and PC. Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes allows players to fight as both Jedi Knights and clone troopers through over 40 missions, all created from shared visual assets from the TV series that airs on Cartoon Network.
Featuring a brand-new storyline, players get the chance to take part in the key events that lead directly into the second season of the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Jedi characters can slice and dice their way through enemies, commandeer droids and show off their combat prowess on foot and in a variety of vehicles. Clone troopers use a heavy weapons platform that includes rocket launchers, thermal detonators and even jet packs in levels built specifically put run-and-gun gameplay to the test.
The game also supports two player local drop-in and drop-out cooperative play on the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. Look for the game in stores this week.

Star Wars: The Old Republic accepting beta applications
BioWare and LucasArts have started accepting closed beta applications for their Star Wars themed MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic today. Limited testing slots are reserved first for The Old Republic Community members, so those interested need only sign up at www.stor.com/user/account if they haven’t already. Once signed in, members can log in and click the My Account page to opt in for testing. Testing will be an ongoing process, according to LucasArts, and space is limited, so people need to sign up early to give them the best possible chance of getting selected.
In case you didn’t know (who are you and what planet are you from?) Star Wars: The Old Republic lets players explore an age thousands of years before the rise of Darth Vader when war between The Old Republic and The Sith Empire divided the galaxy. Players can choose to play as Jedi, Sith, or a variety of other classic Star Wars roles, defining their story and determining their path down the Light or Dark side of the Force. Along the way, players will meet companions who will join and fight at their side or betray them, based on the players’ actions. Players can also choose to team up with friends to battle enemies and overcome incredible challenges in dynamic Star Wars style combat.
LucasArts celebrates Talk Like a Pirate Day with a freebie
LucasArts and Telltale are celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day September 19 by giving you some booty for free. No not that, kind of booty. On September 19, Telltale is making the premiere episode of Tales of Monkey Island a FREE download on their website (www.playlikeapirate.com) all day long.
In addition, today through September 21, LucasArts is offering a deals on several versions of The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition titles including
50 percent off the iPhone and iPod touch version of LucasArts’ new The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition via Apple’s App Store; and 50 percent off The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition on Steam and Direct2Drive.

New Star Wars: The Force Unleashed level released
A new single-player level for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has been released and is available for Xbox 360 owners through Xbox LIVE Marketplace and for PlayStation 3 owners through the PlayStation Network. If you have put Force Unleashed away you’ll want to dig it out, dust it off and get ready fro some fun. The level features The Secret Apprentice in an entirely new mission that continues the story of The Force Unleashed in a new Infinities storyline that takes the Star Wars Saga in an entirely new and unexpected direction.
The mission begins at the end of the story of The Force Unleashed and re-imagines the Star Wars Saga as if the Secret Apprentice had killed Darth Vader and taken his place at the Emperor’s side, becoming the most powerful Sith Lord in the universe. The story picks up as the Emperor sends his new apprentice to the planet Tatooine to dispatch Obi-Wan Kenobi — who has been hiding on the planet ever since the events of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. During their hunt for one of the univere’s most powerful Jedi, players will explore the depths of Jabba the Hutt’s palace and encounter notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett.
