ijji.com inches towards 10 million registered user mark
Update: An earlier report said that ijji.com had hit the 10 million registered user mark, when in fact the company was moving towards that milestone. The story now reflects that fact.
Original Story: Online games portal ijji.com, claims that it is nearing the 10 million unique registered player mark. ijji.com is home to several online games including the fantasy MMORPG, Soul of the Ultimate Nation, an extreme drift racing game called Drift City, a massively multi-player online game that mixes fantasy with technology called Gunz The Duel and an online action game called Soldier Front.
The company today launched a new logo, which you can see to the left of your screen. Yeah, not so exciting.
ijji.com’s portal will soon include the Unreal Engine 3-powered games Huxley: The Dystopia, a massively multi-player first-person shooter (MMOFPS), and Alliance of Valiant Arms, a multi-player online first-person shooter (MOFPS); in addition to the World War II-era MOFPS KARMA: Operation Barbarossa.

ijji.com reveals Games Convention Online presence
ijji.com will have a presence at the Games Convention Online in Leipzig, Germany from July 31 - Aug. 2, 2009. Attendees will be the first to experience several soon to be released ijji.com titles, including the massively multi-player online first-person shooter, Huxley: The Dystopia in a competitive team tournament setting.
The company will also be showing off KARMA: Operation Barbarossa, a multi-player online first-person shooter (MOFPS) with an alternate World War II storyline and Soldier Front, a modern military MOFPS game available on ijji.com already.

Lunia users get virtual and real Mana Energy Potions
Clever marketing perhaps, but interesting: MMO games company ijji.com, has partnered with Harcos to bring Mana Energy Potion to players in its game Lunia and in real life. Players of the anime-themed MMORPG, Lunia, can purchase virtual bottles of Mana Energy Potion to boost their stamina in the game. After using the virtual versions of the energy elixir, an actual case of Mana Energy Potion will be delivered – free of charge.
This unique promotional deal is the first such collaboration for both companies. Players can purchase virtual Mana Energy Potion in-game at Lunia’s premium item shop for 29 G coins, ijji.com’s in-game currency, per 10 units and 128 G coins per 50 units. Once players purchase 100 units of Mana Energy Potion in-game, they are entitled to a four-pack of the real life Mana Energy Potion – completely free of shipping and handling charges.
Players can also buy Mana Energy Potions through various retailers, which will be bundled with ePins, redeemable for in-game currency, for access to product in Lunia, such as Mana Energy Potions.
Huxley headlines ijji.com’s E3 line-up
ijji.com will be at E3 in the first week of June showing off its latest slate of titles, if you’re interested in Eastern-themed massively multiplayer games. The most notable of its titles is Huxley: The Dystopia. The Unreal Engine 3-powered Huxley combines the twitch-based fast-action game play of a shooter with the character development and persistent world of an MMO. Visitors to ijji.com’s booth will be able to experience Huxley: The Dystopia for the first time with a hands-on demo.
In addition to hands-on time with Huxley: The Dystopia, ijji.com’s E3 presentation will include Soul of the Ultimate Nation - a fantasy massively multi-player online role-playing game, and a sneak peek at a new multiplayer online FPS with an alternate World War II storyline set in a Europe t still in the grip of WWII and under German control.
Executives from NHN USA/ijji.com and project managers for each game will be on hand at E3 to take meetings June 2-4 in the company’s meeting room, #4533 in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center.
