Two new Harvest Moon games in stores this week
Two new Harvest Moon games have made their way to retail this week - Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming and Harvest Moon: Magical Melody.
Set in the world of last year’s DS hit Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming continues the tale of the island and its residents. Players can choose from 12 playable characters with the mystery unfolding differently from each character’s perspective. The game features a variety of modes including Story Mode, the brain-teasing Mission Mode, and the action-puzzle play of Score Attack and Free Play Modes. Players can test their farming skills against their friends and family in Multiplayer Mode, and even play against people who don’t have the Game Card via DS Download Play. Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming for DS rated E for everyone by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), and is available for $29.99.
Harvest Moon: Magical Melody for the Wii is a re-release of the Player’s Choice Nintendo GameCube game, which is currently a GameStop exclusive with an MSRP of $29.99. In Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, the Harvest Goddess has been turned to stone and the Harvest Sprites need the help of the player to bring her
back. Players must collect musical notes in order to restore the Harvest Goddess to her former self. There are 100 Musical Notes to collect in total but players will also need to complete all manner of farming feats if they want to collect them all. Harvest Moon: Magical Melody is rated E for Everyone by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) and is now available.

Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming now on iPhone
Natsume announced today that its first iPhone title, Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming, is now available for download. Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming a puzzle game set in the world of the popular Harvest Moon series - specifically designed for Apple’s popular device. In Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming, your goal is to grow and harvest crops as fast as you can.
To do this, players will have to harvest chains of crops for big points, and use golden crops and rain to turn the field to their advantage. Players can also test their speed and skill in Score Attack mode, or puzzle your way through thirty challenges in the Mission mode. Find the game wherever iPhone games are sold (the iTunes App Store, for example).

Natsume’s Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming has entered into manufacturing and will launch in August for the Nintendo DS. Set in the world of last year’s DS title Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming continues the tale of the island and its residents.

Natsume’s E3 line-up
Natsume announced its lineup for the Electronic Entertainment Expo next week in Los Angeles. The company will be holding one-on-one meetings and showing off a handful of new games on the show floor.
The company will be showing off Cheer We Go and Squishy Tank for the Nintendo DS, Afrika for the PlayStation 3, Harvest Moon: My Little Shop for Nintendo WiiWare, Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, Animal Kingdom: Wildlife Expedition and Reel Fishing: Angler’s Dream for the Wii, Harvest Moon: Sunshine
Islands and Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming for the DS, and Adventures To Go for the PSP. All the titles showcased will be shipping in 2009.
