Harvest Moons for everyone

harvest  Harvest Moons for everyone ds-platformsNatsume announced today that Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands for the Nintendo DS and Harvest Moon: Animal Parade for Wii have shipped to retail in North America. Sunshine Islands is available at an MSRP of $29.99 and is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, while Harvest Moon: Animal Parade for the Nintendo is priced at an MSRP of $49.99, and is rated E for Everyone.

In Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands, players rejoin all the characters from Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, and meet some new faces as you try to figure out how to raise several sunken islands that san many years ago, because of a powerful. Players will go on a hunt for the magical Sun Stones and raise the sunken islands, but in between you’ll be doing all the usual things associated with a Harvest Moon game. This things include training your pets by playing in mini-games, growing a variety of crops and trying to find love.

In Harvest Moon: Animal Parade players unravel the trouble in the once-prosperous village of Harmonica Town, Players need to figure out why crops aren’t growing, the wind isn’t blowing, and the five elemental bells are missing. In between playing savior players go fishing, do some mining, cultivate crops, and care for wild animals such as penguins, pandas, and monkeys.

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade gold

Natsume announced today that Harvest Moon: Animal Parade for the Nintendo Wii has gone gold and will be released on November 10th at an MSRP of $49.99 and is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. In the game playr are charged with figuring out what the hell is going on in Harmonica Town.

 Crops aren’t growing, the wind isn’t blowing, and the five elemental bells are missing. Only the power of the Harvest King can revive the land, but he’s nowhere to be found. It’s up to the player to find the five bells, awaken the Harvest King, and save the town - all while managing a farm and your love life as you would be excted to do in a Harvest Moon game.

On a related note, players who pre-order the game at GameStop will receive a limited edition plush duck. Quantities are limited, so get the duck over there and pre-order if you want one.

Natsume’s E3 line-up

Natsume announced its lineup for the Electronic Entertainment Expo next week in Los Angeles. The company will be holding one-on-one meetings and showing off a handful of new games on the show floor.

The company will be showing off Cheer We Go and Squishy Tank for the Nintendo DS, Afrika for the PlayStation 3, Harvest Moon: My Little Shop for Nintendo WiiWare, Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, Animal Kingdom: Wildlife Expedition and Reel Fishing: Angler’s Dream for the Wii, Harvest Moon: Sunshine
Islands and Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming for the DS, and Adventures To Go for the PSP. All the titles showcased will be shipping in 2009.

More Harvest Moon this Fall

Natsume will publish Harvest Moon: Animal Parade for the Nintendo Wii and Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands for the Nintendo DS, the company announced today. Both games will make their debut at E3 2090 in Los Angeles in the first week of June. Harvest Moon: Animal Parade will be released this fall, while Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands will be available later this summer. Both of the new games will be shown for the first time in public at Natsume’s booth (South Hall, booth # 848) at E3. Both games will be released this fall.

Players will find plenty of activities in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, including cultivating crops and caring for wild and exotic animals such as penguins, pandas, and monkeys. Players can take their exotic animals out for walks, teach them tricks, and ride some of them around town. The game also lets players take and share pictures of their farm, their family, or their village over WiiConnect24.

Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands features new characters, new crops, and and animals such as ducks, monkeys, and badgers. In Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands, players rejoin all of the characters from Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, and get to meet a number of new friends as well. Players will grow and harvest crops, care for animals, mine, fish, and compete in festivals in their quest to restore the Sunshine Islands to their former glory.
