Harvest Moons for everyone
Natsume announced today that Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands for the Nintendo DS and Harvest Moon: Animal Parade for Wii have shipped to retail in North America. Sunshine Islands is available at an MSRP of $29.99 and is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, while Harvest Moon: Animal Parade for the Nintendo is priced at an MSRP of $49.99, and is rated E for Everyone.
In Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands, players rejoin all the characters from Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, and meet some new faces as you try to figure out how to raise several sunken islands that san many years ago, because of a powerful. Players will go on a hunt for the magical Sun Stones and raise the sunken islands, but in between you’ll be doing all the usual things associated with a Harvest Moon game. This things include training your pets by playing in mini-games, growing a variety of crops and trying to find love.
In Harvest Moon: Animal Parade players unravel the trouble in the once-prosperous village of Harmonica Town, Players need to figure out why crops aren’t growing, the wind isn’t blowing, and the five elemental bells are missing. In between playing savior players go fishing, do some mining, cultivate crops, and care for wild animals such as penguins, pandas, and monkeys.

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade gold
Natsume announced today that Harvest Moon: Animal Parade for the Nintendo Wii has gone gold and will be released on November 10th at an MSRP of $49.99 and is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. In the game playr are charged with figuring out what the hell is going on in Harmonica Town.
Crops aren’t growing, the wind isn’t blowing, and the five elemental bells are missing. Only the power of the Harvest King can revive the land, but he’s nowhere to be found. It’s up to the player to find the five bells, awaken the Harvest King, and save the town - all while managing a farm and your love life as you would be excted to do in a Harvest Moon game.
On a related note, players who pre-order the game at GameStop will receive a limited edition plush duck. Quantities are limited, so get the duck over there and pre-order if you want one.

Rune Factory 2: The Adventure Continues
Natsume’s Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon for the DS has shipped to retail this week. The Rune Factory series combines the gameplay of Harvest Moon with the fantasy trappings of an action-RPG.
Rune Factory 2 is set several years after the first game after the evil Sechs Empire has been defeated, and the Kingdom of Norad is once again at peace. Things won’t stay that way for long, however, as strange disturbances in the earth warn that a new evil is stirring. It’s up to player to uncover this new threat to the land and bring peace to the kingdom once more. Over the course of the story, players will build and develop a farm, befriend townspeople, raise monsters, take on quests, and find a wife.
In a first for the Rune Factory series, the story of Rune Factory 2 is multigenerational. Players begin the game as Kyle, a strange man who comes to Alvarna Village. Eventually, players will take on the role of Kyle’s child, opening up a whole new adventure.
Rune Factory 2 is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness Ships
Natsume’s Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness for the Nintendo DS has shipped, marking the company’s ten year commemorative anniversary celebration for the popular Harvest Moon series. Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB and will retail for $29.99.
Billed as the largest DS game in the series’ history, Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness takes place on a a deserted island you inexplicably find yourself shipwrecked on. What’s a castaway to do but get to work.. And work you shall - by harvesting crops, raising animals, and mining for precious gems - and in the process help grow the island’s township.
As the town grows, you will come across lot of different people, businesses, and eligible bachelors and bachelorettes that you can marry. Players can also test their farming skills against each other and compete for prizes via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Of course, instead of doing some virtual hard work, you could just get off your dead ass and do some yard work or something..
A Marvelous XSEED E3 Line-Up
Marvelous Entertainment USA and XSEED Games will focus on Wii, PSP, and DS games at E3 next week in Los Angeles. Both companies will show their wares at Concourse Hall Pavilion #427.
For the DS Avalon Code, KORG DS-10, Retro Game Challenge and Populous will be shown; Wii games Rune Factory: Frontier and LITTLE KING’S STORY will be there with bells on; with VALHALLA KNIGHTS 2 for PSP will rounding out the line-up. More after the Jump:
