Aksys reveals Battle Fantasia for PSN
Aksys Games has announced Battle Fantasia, PlayStation Network exclusive coming this coming fall. Developed by, Arc System Works, the creators of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, Battle Fantasia is a fighting game feature characters designed video game artist Emiko Iwasaki.
The game promises 12 characters, trophy support, RPG elements, cel-shaded graphics, 80 unlockable illustrations in “Gallery Mode, online play, battle mechanics like “Heat Up” mode, “GACHI Match”, and “GACHI Drive” and a single-player story mode.
To commemorate the special release, Aksys Games has added additional trophies to be named by the fans of the series. Below are the trophies that need to be named:
1. Outside of training mode, dish out a total of over 1,000,000 damage.
2. In single-player arcade mode, seduce every character with Ashley’s taunt.
3. In single-player arcade mode, get 25+ hits with Coyori’s Cat Storm.
4. Outside of training mode, as Death Bringer, defeat an opponent with a single
move.
5. Outside of training mode, win a match with only 1 HP left.
To enter the contest, head on over to aksysgames.com/bfonpsn. The best name of each trophy will be included in the game.
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Pre-Order Details
Aksys Games has revealed what extra stuff BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger pre-order customers can expect.
Those who order the game early for Xbox 360 or PS3 will get a free upgrade to the Limited Edition version of the game.
The FREE Limited Edition Upgrade is only available by pre-ordering and features collectable Limited Edition packaging; a two-disc original soundtrack that contains 48 tracks by Guilty Gear’s Daisuke Ishiwatari (19 more than the version released in Japan); a bonus video disc containing basic tutorials, expert advice, character-specific strategies, and much more.
Aksys Games says that the bonus video disc marks the first ever collaboration of top BlazBlue players
around the nation, showcasing talent from the fighting game community at Dustloop.com and Shoryuken.com. The bonus disc features a tutorial detailing basic attacks, special moves, distortion
drives, proven basic and advance combos, and advanced strategies and tactics per character.
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger will be available June 30th for Xbox 360 and PS3. Take a look at the Limited Edition package below:

Aksys Games is collaborating with Mana Energy Potion for special pre-order program for its game BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. Developed by Arc System Works, creators the Guilty Gear franchise, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger combines the elements of past Arc System Works title with highly detailed 2D/3D high definition graphics. The game will be released this summer.

Battle Fantasia Ready To Rumble
Aksys Games has released Battle Fantasia to retail stores today in North America for the Xbox 360.
Developed by ARC System Works (best known for creating the Guilty Gear fight game franchise) Battle Fantasia is a next-generation beat ‘em up with RPG leanings based on the Japanese arcade hit of the same name.
The game features 12 cel-shaded characters, 2D environments, online play via Xbox Live, battle mechanics that change the momentum of a fight (Heat Up mode, GACHI Match, and GACHI Drive), and the promises of plenty of unlockable content and Achievements.

Battle Fantasia Announced
No this game doesn’t involve the characters of the classic Disney film beating the crap out of each other.. Aksys Games announced a brand new beat ‘em up called Battle Fantasia for the Xbox 360. Coming this fall from ARC SYSTEM WORKS, creators of the Guilty Gear series, Battle Fantasia uses RPG elements, high definition environments, high flying fighting and 12 characters created by Emiko Iwasaki, to create a video game that hopes will have some sex appeal with fight fans. We shall see Grasshopper, we shall see.
The game will use cel-shaded graphics, offer an exclusive Console Story Mode (with hidden sub-scenarios), online combat with online rankings, 80 unlockable illustrations in “Gallery Mode” and various Xbox Achievements, and fighting components with tough sounding names like battle mechanics of “Heat Up” mode, “GACHI Match”, and “GACHI Drive.”
Look for this beat ‘em up only on Xbox 360 this fall.
BLAZBLUE Arcade Game Coming To Anime Expo
Aksys Games announced that the very first Location Test Tour for the arcade version of BLAZBLUE will take place in America. The location test will take place at the Anime Expo and will last for all four days of the event.
BLAZBLUE is an arcade fighting game developed by Arc System Works that combines 2D & 3D high-definition graphics with Arc Systems special brand of fighting action (the company is best know for the Guilty Gear series of beat ‘em ups). The arcade game is powered by the Taito Type-X2 Arcade board and will make its debut this fall in Japan. The location test will be the very first time that the public has access to the game.
The arcade game will be playable from July 3 ? July 6 from 10 AM ? 5 PM in the Console Gaming Room at the Anime Expo 2008 (Los Angeles Convention Center).
