Realms of Arkania trilogy invades Good Old Games

Some great news for fans of the computer role-playing games, Realms of Arkania: you can now play it on your modern PC thanks to Good Old Games. The old PC games were less than stable back in the day when I played them so I have high expectations that these three games will be crash and bug free.

Based on the popular German paper & pencil RPG series, “Das Schwarze Auge” (The Dark Eye), Realms of Arkania is a role-playing game series with deep character customization, good stories and tactical elements that make combat interesting. Good Old Games is offering Realms of Arkania 1 & 2 (Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny and its sequel Realms of Arkania 2: Star Trail) in a single package for $5.99 USD right now.

These games are allegedly DRM-free and compatible with Windows XP and Vista. The third part of the series, Realms of Arkania III: Shadows over Riva, will be available for purchase in the coming weeks. That one will cost you right around $10.
