New map and vehicles deployed to War Rock

GamersFirst has launched a new map and several new vehicles to its free-to-play online action game, War Rock. Part of a brand new update, War Rock now features the brand new Skill Pointer map and 3 new vehicles. Along with this new update there will be a 25 percent experience boost for the weekend. Skill Pointer is a new Conquest Mode map that focuses heavily on vehicle combat. Players on Skill Pointer will have ten seconds of invulnerability to load into a vehicle before fighting to control the Neutral base and protect home base.

Skill pointer features three tanks - the M109, the new Japan 90 (J90) and M1A2. The J90 is a Type 90 uses modular ceramic and steel composite armor, while the J90 offers a mounted 120 mm smoothbore cannon, and the M1A2 comes equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun and a 120 mm M256 smoothbore cannon. Both the J90 and the M1A12 tanks will only be available on the Skill Pointer map.

GamersFirst 2.0 Launches

Free-to-play online game destination GamersFirst has launched version 2.0 of its game services today. The newly launched services include simplified registration (compatible with OpenID), improved navigation, an expanded marketplace for purchasing game premiums and special items, up-to-the minute gamer news feeds, new gamer profile pages, and expanded payment options including retail gamer cards. The new site is currently available in English and Turkish with additional languages coming soon.

K2 Network, which owns GamersFirst, publishes and services online games including War Rock, Knight Online, Global MU Online, Red Stone, and Sword of the New World.
