Nirvana headlines next week’s Rock Band DLC

Harmonix and MTV Games will release a three pack of tracks from Nirvana, a four pack of tracks from Foo Fighters and a single from Joan Jett & The Blackhearts to the Rock Band Music Store and the LEGO Rock Band Music Store for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. Tracks from Bullet for My Valentine and System of a Down will be available for download next week for Rock Band Unplugged on PSP.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nirvan’s Bleach album, Sub Pop will release a special edition of the album, featuring a complete and previously unreleased live concert recorded in 1990 in Portland, Oregon. The anniversary edition of Bleach will be released the same day and date as Nirvana Bleach Pack, which includes About a Girl, Blew and School.
Foo Fighters will release Greatest Hits Nov. 3, the same day the third DLC pack from the band will be available in the Rock Band Music Store. Greatest Hits will feature 14 of the band’s most-loved songs, as well as two new songs, Wheels and Word Forward, both of which are featured in Foo Fighters Pack 03, along with Best of You and The Pretender.
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts’ Fake Friends from the 1984 album, Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth, will also be added to the Rock Band Music Store and LEGO Rock Band Music Store Nov. 3. Full track listing after the break.

Breaking Benjamin headline Rock Band Store additions next week

Next week new tracks from Breaking Benjamin will make their Rock Band debut with a three pack of songs available for download in the Rock Band Music Store. A five pack of songs from Alice in Chains, as well as songs from Kula Shaker and Just Kait will also be added next week. Tracks from Foo Fighters will also be available for download next week for Rock Band Unplugged on PSP as well.
Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Sept. 29) and PlayStation 3 (Oct. 1):

Tom Petty headlines next week’s Rock Band tracks

Harmonix and MTV Games will release singles from Fleetwood Mac, Billy Idol, Jet and Tom Petty in the Rock Band Music Store week for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Tracks from Foo Fighters, White Zombie and Grateful Dead will be available for the Wii and Rock Band Unplugged will see two new tracks from The Zombies and White Zombie.

Foo Fighters tracks invade Rock Band next week

Harmonix will release a three-pack of songs from Foo Fighters, as well as singles from Blind Melon, Blur, Dropkick Murphys, Eve 6 and Kaiser Chiefs next week in the Rock Band Music Store for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Additional tracks from the Gorillaz and Red Hot Chili Peppers will be available in the Wii Rock Band Music Store, and tracks from Pat Benatar and Coheed and Cambria will be available for Rock Band Unplugged.

Foo Fighters Album Invades Rock Band Music Store

Foo Fighters’ best selling album, The Colour and the Shape, will become the seventh complete album to join the Rock Band Music Store catalog of downloadable content, according to an announcemtn from Harmonix and its partners today. Selling more than 2 million copies in the US, The Colour and the Shape is the most successful album from the rock band and includes hit singles “Monkey Wrench,” “Hero” and “Everlong”. With “Everlong” already featured on the Rock Band 2 soundtrack, the DLC album will include the following tracks, listed after the break:
