Microsoft Announces Limited Edition Resident Evil 360
Y’know, it’s been a while since Microsoft has released limited edition 360 to the public. In fact, the last one was green and orange Halo edition 360 a couple of years back. Rumors started popping up a few weeks ago that Microsoft was looking at dishing out another limited 360 edition in honor of the upcoming release of Resident Evil 5. Today, Microsoft confirmed those rumors, detailing the new package.

Target Ad Shows Cheaper Xbox 360

Here’s the problem with having “partners” - regardless of what line of business you are in: sometimes they aren’t very good at keeping secrets. Sometimes they don’t even bother pretending to try.Case and point, Target.com’s Xbox 360 Pro (20 GB model) ad with the price of $299.99. The U.S. retailer is taking orders at a price point that amounts to a $50 price reduction from its previous pricepoint of $349. - which falls right in line with all the rumors and speculation. The prevailing rumor is that retailers across the United States will be offering this model at the $299.00 price point as soon as Sunday. Microsoft has yet to confirm or deny the rumor. This is the kick off to what many believe will be an E3 announcement on Monday that a new SKU is in the works, along with a new hard drive. That SKU is rumored to feature a 60 GB Hard drive, in addition to that new 60 GB hard drive being sold separately for all those consumers snapping up the lower priced 20 GB systems.
