Xbox 360 Users Rock The Vote
According to a vote by 100,000 Xbox Live users, Senator Barak Obama currently edges out Senator John McCain by a margin of 43 percent to 31 percent, with 26 percent falling into the undecided or other category. The poll is interesting because it solicits responses from a number of different demographics and age groups. What would be nice to know is how those numbers break down based on age, sex, race, etc.
The vote favors Senator Barack Obama, but there are a number of factors that aren’t detailed and 26 percent of voters that have not yet made up their minds - which should give Senator McCain supporters hope that the entire election is very close.
My biggest problem with the data is that Xbox Live does not detail how many of those polled are actually eligible to vote, and if there is any margin of error in the poll. As a politcal junie this data is important to me.
The good news coming out of this poll is that Xbox 360 users are paying attention, are enaged and are ready to rock the vote this November.
