DECA Sports Moves 700, 000 Units

Hudson’s DECA SPORTS has shipped (not sold, mind you) 700,000 units of its 10-Sport Wii party game worldwide. The company said today that it has exceeded 700,000 units shipped worldwide in the U.S., Europe, and Japan. Of course, shipped does not mean sold, but it does mean that both retailers and Hudson expect that these units will move at some point.

In March Deca Sporta was released in Japan, followed a U.S. release in May as DECA SPORTS and a June release in Europe as SPORTS ISLAND. What ever you want to call Hudson’s game, it features 10 different sporting events for both single and local multiplayer including curling and figure skating.. I’d make a joke about those two entries but I don’t want to get beat up the next time I’m in Canada. Curling rocks.
