Ubisoft has released the latest game in its popular World War II shooter series Brothers in Arms. Developed by Gearbox Software, Brothers In Arms Hell’s Highway is available now for Xbox 360 and the PS3. Brothers In Arms Hell’s Highway brings the squad-based WWII shooter into the next generation with the promise of “amazing graphics, sound and new cutting-edge gameplay features.” We’ll see.

Brothers In Arms Hell’s Highway drops players into Operation Market Garden, the largest airborne operation of World War II. Players will lead Matt Baker, Joe Hartsock and the rest of the 101st Airborne Division as they fight to open “Hell’s Highway” in a daring bid for a quick end to the war.

What wondrous games will be rolling out to retail this week? Well, this week we shall see the latest Brothers in Arms game, LEGO Batman, the new Silent Hill game, Warriors Orochi 2, Disgaea for the DS, and de Blob, among many other titles.

My personal picks for the week? Disgaea DS and the digital release of Mega Man 9 on WiiWare - but that one isn’t available at retail. Check out the full list after the jump.

Ubisoft announced that Gearbox Software’s latest game in the Brothers in Arms series, Brothers In Arms Hell’s Highway has gone gold and will ship to retailers in North America on September 23. On that day the game will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Brothers In Arms Hell’s Highway drops players into Operation Market Garden, the largest paratrooper operation in World War II.
