Other promises include four different character classes with their own unique skills and abilities, plenty of loot to gear up the way you want, lots of sides quests to keep you busy and plenty of enemies to keep things interesting including vicious alien wildlife, marauding gangs of bandits, and their leaders. It came from G4: Borderlands, L4D 2 and Sessler’s Soapbox
Our friends at G4TV have some interesting video to show you from Adam Sessler’s latest rant on Sessler’s Soapbox to previews of Borderlands and Left 4 Dead 2:
X-Play gets an exclusive first look at 4-player cooperative play in Borderlands. Gearbox Software CEO & President Randy Pitchford walks Morgan Webb through the process, showing her how players can join and leave games seamlessly, how players can trade loot and weapons in game, and how different characters can use skills and abilities to work together. The enemies multiply and get tougher as more players join, but experience and loot drops get better as well. Borderlands COOP Preview
X-Play previews a new build of Left 4 Dead 2 showing off gameplay from the Swamp level and showing players why it might be satisfying to use melee weapons like the frying pan, and why infected - “mud men” love to run on all fours. Bizarre. X-Play L4D 2 Preview
This week on Sessler’s Soapbox, G4’s most outspoken personality talks about censorship and how he expected more of an uproar over Grand Theft Auto IV than what actaully materialized. He also talks about how the Wii has helped bring videogames into the mainstream, and the distractions of the mainstream media right now. His concern, and the real topic of this Soapbox is, “be ready for a barrage of controversy over some game in the near future” when healthcare and the economy are no longer the top issues in the country. Watch it now on G4.

Take Two E3 Press Conference Notes
Take Two’s E3 press conference had a few surprises, but was mostly a rundown of titles that were expected or already announced.
First the surprises: The company revealed at the very end of its show that Sid Meier’s Pirates! II and a new Red Dead Revolver game were in the works. No details, just a tease to get people excited. Fans of the Wild West shoot ‘em up and Sid Meier’s popular action adventure game were certainly happy to hear the news.
The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too.
