Fishing Cactus releases Minim on iPhone
After the success of its iPhone game Shift (which was downloaded more than 1.4 million times), Fishing Cactus has released its fourth iPhone game - Minim - on the App Store. In Minim your goal is to obliterate molecules by combining connected atoms, reducing the subatomic matter to a single particle. Can you The game promises about 50 levels of this kind of gameplay if that’s your cup of tea.
Minim is compatible with the iPhone and iPod Touch, and requires iPhone OS 3.0. The game is available on the App Store: the full version costs $1.99/€1,59 (including 50 levels and more to come) or for free in a lite version (offering the first 5 levels of the game).

Eliminate now available on iPod Touch, iPhone
ngmoco have released the multiplayer deathmatch-centric action game, Eliminate, to the App Store. In Eliminate players become weapons testers in a first-person shooter experience using exotic and highly experimental gear to take on other combatants in various deadly challenges.
Every shot and move is tracked, measured, and analyzed by Arsenal researchers as they strive to develop the world’s most potent weapons systems. But really none of that matters; your goal is to use the fancy weapons to kill or be killed. The game also features a leveling and upgrade system for six weapons, nine different armor sets and thirteen upgradable characteristics including cloaking, aquatics, rate of fire and zoom magnification.

Wolfenstein RPG available for iPod Touch and iPhone
EA Mobile has released Wolfenstein RPG, a new take on the classic action game originally created by id Software, on the App Store. Wolfenstein RPG for iPhone) and iPod touch is a turn-based role playing action game similar to id’s DOOM RPG where players battle Axis soldiers, navigate through mysterious underground tunnels, and battle a horde of monsters to take down the Axis’ diabolical Paranormal Division. You won’t get to box Hitler at the end, but you can at least make him feel bad by beating up his comrades.
In Wolfenstein RPG, players jump into the boots of Sergeant B.J. Blazkowicz, leader of an elite U.S. fighting unit, who is imprisoned by the evil Axis Army and must annihilate enemies in 9 levels. Utilizing the Multi-Touch user interface of iPhone and iPod touch, players tap to pick up weapons to hit, kick, dynamite and destroy super soldiers, zombies and the shadowy Harbinger of Doom; swipe to control fighting and walking motions; and use the accelerometer to propel the sniper rifle into action.

Digital Chocolate’s Crazy Monkey Spin released
Digital Chocolate’s Crazy Monkey Spin is now available on the App Store. Adapted specifically for iPhone and iPod touch, the game offers new iPhone OS 3.0 feature allowing users to browse their entire iTunes Music Library from within the game.
The goal of Crazy Monkey Spin is to swing through the zoo to save other animal friends. The game comes with 50 levels in five different themed environments, including Antarctic, Savannah, Jungle, Aquarium, and Bamboo Forest. Players can use the Multi-Touch feature to control the monkey by swiping and sending the monkey jumping through air, grabbing bananas as you go.

Taito releases Waterways on iPhone

TAITO today announced that, with the cooperation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Japan, it will bring the action-puzzler Waterways, to the iPhone App Store. The game will be available worldwide for the iPhone and iPod touch on June 11. Waterways, developed by Dutch studio Rough Cookie, was the winning concept of the Netherlands-Japan GameJam 2008 contest, held as part of the “Netherlands in Japan 2008-2009″ celebration.
Last year was the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Japan and the Netherlands, and this year, 2009, marks 400 years of trade between the two nations. Sponsored by the Dutch game organizations NLGD Foundation and the Dutch Game Garden, and also backed by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Japan GameJam 2008 contest was held by Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Japan as part of the continuing “Netherlands in Japan 2008-2009″ celebration.
Waterways is an action puzzle game designed and developed by Dutch studio Rough Cookie. Players assume the role of a heroic cow named Patch. When the Netherlands’ water management system “Caretaker 3000″ goes haywire, leading to widespread flooding, it’s up to Patch to navigate a series of water-filled mazes and drawbridges in an effort to reach and repair the leaking valves. Waterways makes full use of the iPhone/iPod Touch’s motion sensors as well.
