I missed the rains down in Afrika, which is now gold
Natsume announced that Afrika for the PS3 system has gone gold. Natsume’s first title for the system, Afrika is a wildlife photography adventure set in an unexplored region of Africa. The game will be available at an MSRP of $49.99 and is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. The game promises picturesque landscapes, more than 70 animals to find, over 100 missions to complete, and endless replayability. We shall see about that, but it is an interesting game for release exclusively on PS3 and not other platforms.

Natsume bringing Afrika to PS3
Natsume announced that it will publish Afrika for the PS3 - the company’s very first title on Sony’s platform. The game will be available at retail early fall 2009. In the game players take on the role of a freelance photographer a new conservation area in Africa.
The goal is to document the wildlife and sights such as a clash between hippopotamuses, a pride of lions watching over its cubs, and a cheetah running down its prey. Natsume says that all of the game’s animals and environments are rendered in photorealistic detail with animals that move, behave, and interact with each other just like their real-world counterparts.
Afrika is being developed in cooperation with National Geographic.
