What to Watch: The Deepening

deep What to Watch: The Deepening mediaI saw this on Friday but I forgot to mention it in the news. I am referring to the interesting interactive story The Deepening. A sort-of homage to The Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage” video, The Deepening is a playable web comedy short video that is reminiscent of those old Play Your Own Adventure books. Basically at certain points in the video it gives you some 8-bit inspired choices on which direction to take the story into. this of course can lead to some funny but unhappy endings for the story and its crazy characters.

You can check the video out at http://www.atom.com/spotlights/deepening/ . When I played it I got everyone killed. Oops! I should probably give it another shot.  To quote Danny Glover - “RIGGS! I’m gettin’ too old for this sh*t!”
