Risen demo released

Deep Silver and developer Piranha Bytes have released a North American version of the playable demo for the role-playing game Risen, offering players a chance to get a first impression of some of the adventures that await them on the island of Faranga. Of course, the demo also allows them to test how well the full version of Risen will run on their PCs.

The demo is available for download at risen.deepsilver.com.

The Risen demo lets players experience the introduction of the nameless hero who survives a shipwreck and lands on the shore of the Island of Faranga. Numerous decisions must be made within the course of the adventure, each one influencing the storyline in different ways. The complete retail version of Risen is now available in stores and via Steam.
