Red Baron collection now on Good Old Games

Classic games portal Good Old Games is bringing the classic Red Baron air-combat series to the masses this week, DRM-free and at a low, low price. Thanks to a fresh agreement with Mad Otter Games, GOG.com will offer the complete Red Baron series in one value-packed bundle for $9.99. This package includes the original Red Baron, the Red Baron Mission Builder to build your own crazy scenarios and Red Baron 3D. All of the stuff in this package will be DRM-free and Windows XP & Vista compatible.

In case you didn’t know here’s a little history on the series: The Red Baron series was created by Dynamix, who later got acquired by Sierra. The game is considered by many to one of the best and probably only World War I flight simulator - excluding games that involve Snoopy - but those aren’t real simulations for obvious reasons (no offense to Snoopy - you know I love you dawg!). The games allow players to fly authentic World War I aircraft in individual missions or campaign mode, as they accompany the famous World War I flying ace (again, not Snoopy) in his squadron or hunt him as a pilot in the Royal Flying Corps.
