Silent Scope available on iPhone, iPod Touch

Konami Digital Entertainment has released Silent Scope for the iPhone and iPod touch today on the App Store for a mere 99 cents (at least until August 29, when it will cost a lot more). Based on the popular 1999 arcade rail shooter game, players test their aim and skills as a marksmen on the go to protect and defend the American First Family. Of course Konami says that this game takes “full advantage” of Apple’s Multi-Touch user interface (did you think it would say that it doesn’t?), enabling players to aim and shoot all the bad guys gunning for the President and the first family.

Throughout the game, players can chose from two different gameplay modes including Arcade Mode and Training Mode. The Training Mode allows new players to practice precision shooting, while the Arcade Mode features three stages of gameplay for the veteran sniper: Story, Shooting Range and Time Attack. Additionally, Arcade Mode gives all players the chance to change the game settings to Difficulty, Player Life and Branch Attack.

Silent Scope is now available for 99 cents from August 27 to August 29 only on the App Store for Apple iPhone and iPod touch.
