WGA Videogame Writing Nominees Announced

girls WGA Videogame Writing Nominees Announced actionAfter people complained about Dead Head Fred winning last year’s award (the reason being that the nominated game in question had to feature writing from a member), it looks like the Writers Guild Association is trying to redeem itself this year. The organization announced this year’s nominees, which includes an excellent indie game from Mouschief. See this year’s nominees after the break.

Nominees For Videogame Writing

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, Electronic Arts

Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble!, Mousechief Co.

Fallout 3, Bethesda Softworks

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, LucasArts

Tomb Raider: Underworld, Eidos Interactive

There are, of course criteria to meet and guidelines to be followed; to be eligible, games must have been released between December 1, 2007 and November 30, 2008. Work that was not produced under WGA jurisdiction. At the time scripts were submitted, the credited game writer(s) must be or have applied to become members of the WGA’s Videogame Writers Caucus.
