Wayne County, Michigan prosecutor Kym Worthy has released her list of the top ten most violent games for 2008. No doubt she’s played them all. Her list includes Fallout 3, Dead Space, Far Cry 2, Legendary, Resistance 2, Saint’s Row 2, Silent Hill, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2 and Blitz the League II. The first Gears of War 2 downloadable content is now available via Xbox Live Marketplace. The Combustible Map Pack - as the kids like to call it - features three new multiplayer maps: Flood, Gold Rush and Fuel Station. If you want more info fire up your Xbox 360 now and hit Xbox Live Marketplace.

GamerDNA.com has launched the gamerDNA Discovery Engine, which allows gamers to identify new video games to play based on their individual interests and preferences. Rockstar Games will release Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the Nintendo DS on March 17, 2009 in North America and 20, 2009 in Europe. We will see if Rockstar is capable of bringing the same kind of experience that it brought to the PSP with this DS only game…

The Strong Bad season finale has arrived on WiiWare and PC today, marking the end of the first monthly episodic series for a console. The finale is available for PC as part of the $34.95 Strong Bad season pass or can be downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel for 1,000 Wii points.

System 3 and Playseats have inked a partnership to promote Supercar Challenge on PlayStation 3 that will see the peripheral maker create a special seat related to the game. Further details and specific cross-promotional announcements will be made in the near future.

Nexon America is celebrating the holidays with a massive update to its online first-person shooter, Combat Arms. Beginning Dec. 16, a new game mode called Spy Hunt will be added to the game, new character customization options, new items and more. Hit the link above to join in on the celebrations.
