Name: Scott Kurtz

Vitals: Cartoonist, 36, married

Education: High School and some college. Attended the University of North Texas for advertising art. Dropped out after my professors told the entire department that computers would never be used for commercial art.

Publications: PvP is published monthly by Image Comics. Have also done work here and there for PC Gamer and Dragon Magazine.

Platforms played: PC, Xbox 360, Gamecube/Wii/DS.

Genres played (in order of exposure): My gaming started in pizzerias with Arcade stand ups. All the early home consoles and quasi-PCs (Atari 800xl, Commodore 64). Most of the Infocom games and Exodus games. Got hooked on all the Blizzard titles starting with Diablo and Warcraft. First online gaming experience was Command & Conquer, then UO and EverQuest.

Multiplayer or single-player: Multiplayer, massively.

My favorite Top 10 games ever played:

Miner 2049er
Exodus: Ultima 3
Ultima Online
Diablo 2
Warcraft 2
EverQuest
World of Warcraft
Guitar Hero
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Command & Conquer

What makes me tick: Pretty much anything comic book, sci-fi/fantasy movies, Apple products and the American comic strip.
