Vitals: 39, married, three kids (8, 11 and 14)

Education: Spent my entire life doodling on homework, walls, napkins, the sleeves of others ... oh, and then I majored in graphic design and commercial art in college.

Publications: Creator and artist behind ExtraLife, a Web comic started in June of 2001, and running still today. Editor of the MyExtraLife.com blog and site. Creator and host of ExtraLife Radio, "The Instance" World of Warcraft podcast, ExtraLife TV, Diary of a Cartoonist, and The Final Score. Dead projects include RealToons, The Feeler, Void Front Property and many more.

Platforms played: PC, Wii, 360, PS3, Mac, DS, PSP and iPhone. Before that, Atari 2600, NES, Master System, Apple II, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Sega CDX, Saturn, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, Game Gear, Gameboy, GBA and arcade machines. To name a few.

Genres played: You name it. RPGs, MMOs, FPSes, RTSes, puzzle games, sports, fighting ... played them all, and love them all.

Multiplayer or single-player: Bit of both. I love playing with my kids, but a good solid single-player experience sure does the trick as well.

My Top 12 games:

1) Super Mario 64
2) World of Warcraft
3) StarCraft: Brood War
4) Unreal Tournament
5) Diablo II
6) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
7) Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom
8) Quake series
9) Half-Life
10) Call of Duty 4
11) LittleBigPlanet
12) WipeOut series

There are so many more. But 12 is all you are gonna get out of me.

What makes me tick: Wife, kids, videogames, art, radio, technology, music and British comedies from the 1970s.

The Games That Time Forgot

The Games That Time Forgot

The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too.
