Vitals: 29, married

Publications: GameSpot, GameNOW Magazine (now defunct) and GameSpy. Quit my last job about a year ago to freelance full-time, figure out my next move, and gain the ability to loaf without having to let anyone but myself down.

Platforms played: Any and all, though I don't own a PSP.

Genres played: Big-time into MMOs, but I'll play anything. I especially dig fighting games, Western RPGs and competitive shooters. Having recently exhausted my backlog of 2007 games, I'm finding myself logging into World of Warcraft a great deal.

Multiplayer or single-player: Multiplayer, typically of the massively competitive variety.

My favorite Top 10 games ever played (in no particular order):

1) Street Fighter II
2) Fallout
3) Chrono Trigger
4) World of Warcraft
5) Shadowrun (SNES)
6) Super Metroid
7) Baldur's Gate II
8) Soul Calibur 2
9) Metal Gear Solid
10) Half-Life 2

My favorite games of 2007 (in alphabetical order):

1) Assassin's Creed
2) Call of Duty 4
3) Team Fortress 2

IRL activities: Cooking (with an emphasis on Caribbean cuisine), cycle commuting (even though I don't have a job), reading, writing, listening to podcasts while I play WoW, watching The Wire.

Miguel Lopez hasn't rated any games yet. Have you? Find some.

The Games That Time Forgot

The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too.
