Vitals: Born Nov. 1981, married

Education: Bachelor's in Film & Television and Master's in Creative Writing, both at Dartmouth.

Publications and Whatnot: CNN, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," AM New York, The Onion A.V. Club

Platforms played: Between the Atari 2600 and today, pretty much everything. Except the Sega Saturn. Sorry, Saturn fans.

Genres played: I don't really like to be pegged to any particular genres, but I do enjoy RPGs more than most.

Multiplayer or single-player: Single-player, same-room multiplayer, co-op online multiplayer, eating sandpaper, competitive online multiplayer. In that order.

My favorite Top 10 games ever played:

(I don't do rankings, but here's an obnoxiously alphabetical, fairly representative list.)

BioShock
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Chrono Trigger
Dragon Warrior
Fallout 3
Final Fantasy VI and all the even-numbered ones since
Ico
Mega Man 2
SSX 3
Star Trek: The Next Generation (pinball)
Super Mario Kart
Super Tecmo Bowl
You Don't Know Jack

What makes me tick: Game shows, pinball, Japan, aquariums, burgers, friends, family, people who are passionate about unusual things.
