Vitals: 35, married, four cats (!)

Education: English degree, creative writing focus, from University of Central Florida. Masters in Professional Writing from USC -- focus on screenwriting.

Publications: Freelance gaming writer for Paste, The Onion A.V. Club, G4TV's X-Play, GameSpy, Gamasutra, Minnesota Monthly, 1Up 'zine.

Platforms played: All current consoles and handhelds. Retro and arcade.

Genres played: Adventure, shooters, first-person, role-playing, rogue-like, rhythm, indie and experimental.

Multiplayer or single-player: Both. I like playing with friends, but also totally value solitary experiences like Portal.
