Vitals: 37, married

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri with a minor in Art from William Woods University, also in Fulton.

Publications: Freelance cartoonist for Dragon magazine, Dungeon magazine, Comics' Buyers' Guide, Scrye magazine, Knights of the Dinner Table Illustrated, and the Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages (Houston and Kansas City).

Platforms played: PC, PS2, Wii and Xbox 360. I prefer PC games, just because I can check my e-mail between save points, plus to most people it looks like I'm working.

Genres played (in order of exposure): Text adventures, platform, point-and-click adventures, turn-based strategy, RTS, FPS, MMORPG and whatever the hell Katamari Damacy is.

Multiplayer or single-player: Single-player mostly, multiplayer whether I know the people involved (if I'm relying on their expertise) or not (if them getting snuffed is good for a laugh).

My favorite Top 10 games ever played:

1) Karaoke Revolution
2) City of Heroes
3) I [Heart] Katamari
4) Unreal Tournament
5) Civilization
6) The Suffering
7) Portal
8) Guitar Hero
9) Worms
10) Serious Sam
11) M.U.L.E. from the Commodore 64
12) Lunatic Fringe from the old After Dark screensaver pack

What makes me tick: British TV, comic books, weird antique stuff, sci-fi toys and my long-suffering wife, who makes sure I keep doing what I love for a living.

The Games That Time Forgot

The games we're pulling together in this feature won't appear on any of those best-of lists and get confused looks when you mention them in conversation. Just because time has forgotten these titles, though, doesn't mean you should forget them, too.
