What's Hot: It's a fast-paced shooter; The controls work quite well
What's Not: The missions and enemies become repetitive; The radar is worthless

That isn't to say that this game isn't without its flaws. Despite the fairly enjoyable gameplay, the action becomes very repetitive after a couple of levels. You pretty much just follow the arrow and shoot at what's in your way. Things get mixed up a little with flying and on-foot missions, but the ground levels are just slower-paced versions of the aerial ones. You're also often assaulted by off-screen enemies that you're unable to immediately counter. Expect to see a lot of missiles appear out of nowhere, forcing you to ditch whatever battle you're currently involved in to go looking for your attacker. The radar (which only displays your main target) is of no use here.
Something that was a bit surprising was the high-quality music, which really helps set an epic, superhero mood. There is also plenty of voiceover work from Robert Downey, Jr. who reprises his role of Tony Stark. Iron Man certainly isn't a great game, but if you enjoyed the movie, it makes for a decent weekend rental so that you can relive the big-screen adventure.
